Request your online nutrition consultation

Fill in the form and the practice comes back within one working day with a confirmed time. Nothing is charged, and nothing is committed until you agree a slot.

The desk, before you book

Health Nutrition Hub arranges online nutrition consultations for people in Malta. You send a short request, the practice matches it to a real slot, and you meet the nutritionist over video from wherever you are. In-person sessions can be arranged on request at 35 Triq Gorg Borg Olivier in St Julian's.

There is no card checkout on this site and no automatic charge. The fee is confirmed in writing before the appointment, so you always know the number before you sit down with anyone.

Desk hours

  • Monday to Friday 9:00 – 18:00
  • Saturday Requests only
  • Reply to a request Within 1 working day

How the separation works here

Two inks on one sheet: the cold line is the appointment you asked for, the warm line is what the practice does about it. Nothing else is added, and nothing is hidden between them.

What to include in the form

  • Your name and a reliable email

Use an address you check most days, because the confirmation, the video link and the preparation list all arrive there. Add a phone number only if you are happy to be called about scheduling.

  • What you want to work on

One or two sentences is enough. Eating patterns that are hard to change, energy through the working day, meals around training, food and a health condition you are already managing — describe it in your own words and skip the clinical language.

  • Two or three windows that usually suit you

Mornings, a lunch hour, after the school run, or later in the evening. If your window is narrow, say so plainly and the practice will try to match it rather than offer something you cannot take.

  • Recent results or a diagnosis, if you have them

Mention a recent blood test or something your doctor has already told you. You do not need to attach anything now — documents can be shared by email once the time is confirmed, and the nutritionist will say which ones are worth sending.

Prepare before you start

The form takes a few minutes. Having these to hand makes it quicker and gives the practice more to work with when matching your time.

  • A general idea of what you want to change
  • Your usual free hours across the week
  • Any recent results you already have

If you would rather talk it through first, the Contact page has the email address and phone number for the desk.

Choosing a time that works

Appointments are offered across mornings, afternoons and some evenings, so a consultation can fit around work, study or a school run without rearranging the week. Requests are handled in the order they arrive, and earlier submissions tend to be met with a wider choice of slots.

Mornings

Before the working day fills up

Useful if you want the consultation finished before meetings start, or if you would rather talk while the house is still quiet.

Afternoons

Between commitments

The widest part of the week. Say which afternoons you can protect and the practice will work inside them.

Some evenings

After the school run ends

Available on selected days only. If you need an evening, mention it in the request and give two fallback windows as well.

Unsure which part of the day suits you best? Send the request with a rough idea and the practice will suggest the closest matches. Changing a time later is not a problem — reply to the confirmation email and a new slot will be arranged.

Send your booking request

Fill in the form and the desk will reply with a confirmed appointment time within one working day. Nothing is charged and nothing is committed by submitting this.

  • Typical reply time 1 working day
  • Payment Bank transfer or in person
  • Desk email [email protected]

Your details are used to arrange the appointment and nothing else. You can read how they are handled on the Privacy Policy page, or email [email protected] to ask for them to be removed.

What happens after you submit

There are four steps between the form and the call. Each one happens in writing, so you always have a record of what was agreed.

  1. You send the request

The form above arrives at the desk with your goal and your preferred windows attached.

  2. A time is matched and confirmed

The practice replies within one working day with an appointment time that sits inside one of your windows.

  3. The slot is held for you

From the moment you receive the confirmation email, that appointment time is reserved and nobody else is offered it.

  4. Preparation list and video link arrive

The same email carries the video link and a short list of things worth noting down beforehand. Need to move the time? Reply to that email and a new slot is arranged.

Payment, and booking for someone else

How the fee is handled

The fee for an online nutrition consultation is confirmed in writing before the appointment, so there is no surprise after the call. Payment is by bank transfer, or in person at a face-to-face session if one has been arranged. This site has no card checkout, and submitting the booking form never triggers a charge.

Requesting a consultation for a family member

You can send a request on behalf of a partner, a parent or a child, as long as that person knows about it. For children and teenagers, a parent or guardian joins the call. Note the age in the form so the session is set up in a way that suits them, and mention anything the nutritionist should read in advance.

When this form is not the right route

This booking form is for routine nutrition appointments. It is not monitored around the clock and is not suitable for urgent medical problems. If you need immediate help, contact your GP, go to the nearest health centre, or call the emergency number.

Before the call — note down what you want to ask

A consultation works best when you arrive with two or three real questions rather than a list of rules. What you want to change, what has failed before, and what a normal week of eating actually looks like.

Does submitting the form book the appointment?

Not yet. It starts the process. The practice reads your request, matches a time, and confirms it back to you in writing. Only then is the slot held, and you can still decline or ask for a different time.

Is the consultation held online or in person?

Online by default, over a video link sent with your confirmation. That suits most people in Malta and anyone travelling. Face-to-face sessions can be arranged on request at the Sliema address — mention it in the notes field so the desk can check availability.

How soon will I hear back after sending a request?

Within one working day, Monday to Friday. Requests that arrive at the weekend are answered on the next working day. If your window is tight, mention it clearly so the reply can focus on the few slots that genuinely work for you.

What documents should I have ready?

Nothing is required at the request stage. If you have a recent blood test or a diagnosis from your doctor, mention it in the form and the nutritionist will tell you which parts are worth sending once the time is confirmed.

Can I change or cancel a confirmed time?

Reply to the confirmation email and say what has changed. A new time will be arranged inside normal desk hours. There is no penalty for moving a routine appointment, though letting the desk know as early as you can keeps the slot free for someone else.

Where the desk is

Online consultations run over video from wherever you are. If you would prefer to meet in person in Sliema, note that in your request and the practice will confirm what is possible. The map below shows the address for face-to-face sessions.
